Site Administration

 

License Host: URL name for your website as it appears on the internet.

License Number: The license number provided to you by Knivis.

License Type: There are two different types of licenses, basic and multi user.
Installation URL: This will always be the same as your license host. This is the URL for your website as it appears on the internet.

Image URL: This is where all images used for your website will be stored. It can be named whatever you choose, but "images" is recommended. The name would be your installation URL followed by a backslash (/) then your image folder name. (For Example: http://www.yoursitename.com/imagefoldername)

 

Change License:

If you wish to change or input a license, click the  button located in the site administration folder.

License Type: A license can either be Basic or Multi User. 

Choose the License type that you have purchased from the drop down list.

License Number: Please enter the license number that was provided to you in this textbox.

Once you have selected your license number and entered the license number that was provided to you, click the Update button to apply your license. If you do not wish to apply your license you can click the Cancel button to exit and you will be taken back to the main menu.

 

Change Properties:

If you wish to change the properties for your website content management, click the  button located in the site administration folder. From here you can change the domain url, image url, data source name, and install folder.

Domain URL: This is the same as your installation URL (see above). It is the URL for your website as it will appear on the internet.

Image URL: This is the where all images will be stored for your website.

 

Once you have made the changes to the properties click the  button to apply the changes. After you have clicked the update button, to ensure license integrity, you will be asked to enter in your license type and license number(refer to above). If you do not wish to make changes at this time, click the  button to return to the main menu screen.
