Navigation Bar
Overview:

General:
Name: The name given to the Naviagtion bar when it was saved.
Rev: The revision number associated with the navigation bar.
Owner: The owner of the navigation bar. Click here to find out more about owners.
Created By: The user who created the navigation bar.
Created: The date that the navigation bar was created and saved.
Last Modified: The date that the navigation bar was last updated and saved.
New NavBar:
To create a new navbar, click on the New NavBar Link. You will be greeted by the following screen.

Choose whether you would like the navbar to be standard or dynamic.
Standard Navigation Bar: A static or standard navigation bar displays a list of options for the user of your website to choose from. It provides links to other pages within your site and allows the internet user to easily naivigate through your site.
Dynamic Navigation Bar: Coded navigation bar. The main difference between a standard and dynamic navigation bar is that the dynamic navigation bar can be chnaged dynamically with your website. This type of navigation bar would require html or coldfusion coding to complete.
Inside the textbox, type in the name that you would like to store the navbar as.
Add: Once you have chosen whether you want a static or dynamic nav bar and you have chosen a name, click the add button to create the navbar.
You will then have to specify the path for the navbar. The path is the file name for the code that generates the navigation bar.

By clicking the save button you will have successfully created the new navigation bar.
Preview:

Preview is the default menu option that will load after the named navigation bar is selected. In preview mode, the navigation bar will be seen exactly as it will be shown on the internet in a web browser. It will be shown in a read only format and cannot be edited. If you wish to edit the navigation bar, click the edit option on the tabular menu.

Permission:

If you would like to give more users permission to the navigation bar, simply click the Permission tab as shown. The users that are not currently given permission to navigation bar will be listed. To give the user permission to the naviation bar, simply click inside the check box associated with the user that you would like to give permission to. A check will then appear inside the check box. To apply the permissions to the user, click the Apply button once the desired user(s) are checked.
